We hope the information provided below will help you develop a greater knowledge of, and appreciation for, the sport of basketball.

The DAA Clinic basketball program promotes fair play, good sportsmanship, skills and fun for boys and girls 6 to 7 years old.

Important Dates

 Age Groups

To play clinic basketball during the 2007/2008 season, your child must be 6 years old by 12/31/2007. 

Skills Evaluation

Skills evaluation are done to determine each child’s skill level so the teams can be composed as evenly as possible.  The goal is to teach and better each child at its particular level.  This is about learning the game of basketball.  The skills evaluations will be held in the beginning of December.  You will receive an e-mail once the dates are confirmed for gym availability with Recreation and Parks.

Practices

Practices will be held once or twice a week.  Each coach will determine his/her practice schedule.  Practices will be held at TBD starting in mid-December.

Games

Games are tentatively schedule to begin the 1^st week of January, with the season ending late February early March, depending on weather and games being rescheduled.  Once the game schedules are completed your coaches will distribute them to you.  Games will be held on Sunday afternoons at TBD.
