Run For Sturge-Weber Syndrome

Join us Monday, October 20th at 6:30 at Davidsonville Park for a run and talk led by Al DeCasaris in support of Sturge-Weber Syndrome.  Some of you may already know Al’s niece Jenna Heck (Ida Heck's daughter - DAA Travel Soccer Coordinator).  Jenna has Sturge-Weber Syndrome, which has left her with a multitude of health issues, not only now but long into the future.

Al has done some crazy things to raise awareness and funds for the Kennedy Krieger Institute which is doing so much to try and find a cure.  This year he is running the length of the East Coast and he will be in Davidsonville tomorrow.   Track his progress at https://www.facebook.com/runningthecoast.  Donations are accepted at https://fundly.com/running-the-coast-for-a-cure.

Jenna’s soccer team, as well as other DAA teams, plan to run with Al at DAA Park to support the cause and Jenna. Please join in. The plan is to be at Davidsonville Park on Monday evening between 6:30pm-7:30pm. Al will be there to give a talk on Sturge Weber Syndrome, emphasize the importance of exercise and then it will be time for a run.
