June 9 - 12, 2008: Syracuse University Camp in Bowie, 5:30 - 8:00 PM or SU Lax Camps
July 7 - 11, 2008: SRHS Day Camp, Registration
July 29, 30 & August 1, 2008: SRHS Evening Camp, Registration

Sticklettes - First & Second Graders

Practices start in April, with two practices scheduled a week until May and stop once games start. Practice times and day to be determined by individual coach. Games start beginning May and run Tuesdays & Thursdays thru the month of May @ Germantown Elementary School in Annapolis.  Focus is on skill building and FUN!

Uniform: White Davidsonville Girl's LAX T-shirt and Green Shorts (adult sizing has an 8" inseam)

Pee Wee - Third & Fourth Graders

This is the first year of county play and all girls must be 8 years old by April 1st to play PeeWee. The games are 8v8, with no checking at this level, and scores are not recorded. Practices start beginning of March, with two practices scheduled a week with Saturday and some weeknight games. Practice times and day to be determined by individual coach. There are 12 scheduled games that start the first week in April.

Middies - Fifth & Six Graders

Middie games are 12v12 with modified checking and scores are recorded. Fields will have hard boundaries. Practices start beginning of March with two practices scheduled a week with Saturday and some weeknight games. Practice times and day to be determined by individual coach. There are 12 scheduled games that start the first week in April.

Juniors - Seventh & Eighth Graders

The games are 12v12 with checking at this level and scores are recorded. Fields will have hard boundaries. Try-outs are the end of  February, and practices start the beginning of March. Expect two to three practices a week, with Saturday and some weeknight games. Practice times and day to be determined by individual coach. There are 10 scheduled games, plus play-offs.

Uniform: Green and White Davidsonville LAX Jersey and Black Skirt (we will not be selling Black Compression Shorts; these can be purchased at any sporting goods store)

Equipment

Girl's LAX Stick, colored mouthguard (white is not considered a color), and EYEWEAR are required; cleats are recommended. Make sure you purchase a girl’s lacrosse stick; they are not the same as boy’s sticks.  

Volunteers

We are always looking for Volunteers to help the program run smoothly.  It is a wonderful way to meet people and have fun at the same time.

Registration Fee: $95.00 January 1 - 31, 2008; $120 February 1 - 5, 2008 (uniform with name can not be guaranteed)

NOTE: You need to order a uniform if you don't already have one (they are they same as last year), please see Uniform: Sticklette, Pee Wee, Middie and Junior.

NOTE: Girl's LAX has always taken into account one's friends and carpool requests. This is very important at the Sticklette and PeeWee levels, and all efforts will be made to accommodate them (please use the family notes area when registering). However, once a player reaches the Middie and Junior level these requests can not be guaranteed. There will be no changes once the teams are formed.
