UNIFORMS
All uniforms will be provided for 2022.
Pee Wee, Middie and Junior levels will be provided with a jersey and a kilt - A $75 refundable deposit will be collected by your coach before you can receive the uniform. You will post date the check for June 1, 2022 and it will not be deposited unless your daughter fails to return both the jersey and kilt at the end of the season. This is protocol for all DAA sports.
Sticklette level players, Kindergarten through 2nd grade, will be provided with reversible pinnies. Girls can wear their own black shorts or skirt.
EQUIPMENT
All girls, regardless of age group, will require the following:

Colored mouth guard(if your daughter has braces they must use the braces mouthguard)

AGE GROUP INFORMATION
Sticklettes - Kindergatren, First & Second Graders
The Sticklette program is an in-house league that will practice at Davidsonville Elementary School. Practices will begin at the end of March or the first week in April and will run through the end of May. DAA Sticklette teams may travel to play other organizations. Game format will be 5v5 with no goalie on a field approximately 50 yards in length. The focal points of this league will be skill-building and sportsmanship, with some emphasis on the basics of positioning, rules and field play.
Pee Wees - Third & Fourth Graders
This is the first year of county play and all girls must be 8 years old by April 1st to play Pee Wee. The games are 8v8, with no checking at this level, and scores are not recorded. Mandatory evaluations will be conducted in late February or early March and teams will be created. There will be scheduled games for this age group. TBD based on when spring sports open in the county. Expect two practices a week. Games will be on Saturday with a possible weeknight game. The focal points of this league will be skill-building and sportsmanship, with more emphasis on the basics of positioning, rules and field play.
Middies - Fifth & Sixth Graders
The games are 12v12 with modified checking and scores are recorded. Fields will have hard boundaries. Mandatory evaluations will be conducted in late February or early March and teams will be created. We intend to field teams in the 3 divisions offered by the county, A, B, and C based on the ability of the participants that sign up. Expect two practices a week. Games will be on Sunday with a possible weeknight game. There will be scheduled games and play offs for this age group. TBD based on when spring sports open in the county. The focal points of this league will be skill-building and sportsmanship, teamwork and positioning, and introduction to strategy and plays. DAA expects any player participating on a team to have a commitment to their coach and teammates to make all practices and games a priority.
Juniors - Seventh & Eighth Graders
The games are 12v12 with checking at this level and scores are recorded. Fields will have hard boundaries. Mandatory evaluations will be conducted in late February and teams will be created. We intend to field teams in the 3 divisions offered by the county, A, B, and C based on the ability of the participants that sign up. Expect two to three practices a week. Games will be on Saturday with a possible weeknight game. There will be scheduled games and play-offs for this age group. TBD based on when spring sports open in the county.
