We still haven’t received official word from the Anne Arundel County Parks & Recreation Department if there will be some sort of modified season.

AACO P&R is holding out hope to have a modified games only season from mid-January through February.  If this were to happen it would take place on the weekends with NO Practices during the week and likely be for those that are in 5th or 6th grade and older ONLY.

We will pass on more info as we receive it.

The mission of the Davidsonville Athletic Association (DAA) Basketball Program is to provide an opportunity for the youth of Davidsonville and the surrounding areas  to learn and enjoy the game of basketball in a safe, well supervised and positive environment.  Intorducing them to, and constantly reinforcing the rules and fundamentals of team basketball.

Davidsonville Athletic Association's (DAA) sole purpose is to promote the health and well-being of our communities youth through providing recreational and competitive athletic programs for players in grades K-12th.  These programs demonstrate to our youth the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork, character, preparation and service.

DAA will provide structured, age and skill level appropriate venues for practices, games and clinics.  Coaches who will work to instill a sense of sportsmanship, self-confidence and teamwork in each child, regardless of their ability.

Our goal is to deliver an experience that offers each young athlete the instruction and the tools to allow them to achieve a satisfying level of personal proficiency in basketball.

We offer all levels of play from Recreational "C" level to Competitive "A" level to over 250 boys and girls in Southern Anne Arundel County.  Our goal is to teach players the value of hard work and discipline.  Basketball continues to grow tremendously in our community and we are asking for your assistance in providing the children of our community with positive experiences in their lives.

Our program is run entirely by dedicated and selfless volunteers from our community.  As a non-profit organization, no position or person receives payment or personal gain from thier support.  They volunteer because they believe in our communities future leaders and understand the importance of fitness, health and positive learning experiences.  We encourage you to consider volunteering and joining our team..
