Welcome Volunteers!

Our Soccer program is GROWING!! With our new expanded soccer program here at DAA, we will be asking for more help than ever from our community of volunteers. We have programs for ages 4-18 and we need your assistance. We will use this web page to communicate with volunteers about assignments and schedules for various duties within the program. Please check it frequently for the most up-to-date information on where our immediate volunteer needs exist.

Open Positions

  • If you are interested in coaching your child’s team within the Youth Development or County program, please indicate so during the registration process. The application specifically addresses volunteer needs and coach and assistant coach are listed there.
  • Your first step to be approved as a coach within DAA is to go to the AA Recs and Parks site, listed below, and print out a background check form. You will complete and return this form directly to Recs and Parks and the address is listed in the upper corner of the form. We cannot allow anyone to coach, or work with the kids in any manner, without this clearance.
  • You can also check this same site for coach’s certification clinic dates. They are offered four (4) times a year, typically held at one of the area high schools. To get started, you will need to obtain a Bronze level certification within your first year of coaching.  Please note that there is a “Coaches Corner” on our web site with more detailed information for you to utilize after you have been assigned to a team.
