Welcome to DAA Select Soccer

The Davidsonville Soccer Club (DSC) is a competitive travel program that involves tryouts, a higher level of time and financial commitment, and more travel than county soccer. This year, DSC will offer select soccer for Boys u14, Girls u11, Girls u12 and Girls u13.  These teams will be placed in one of the more competitive leagues within the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA).

Registration Fee: TBD and separate uniform purchase

Eligibility

For Boys u14, players must be born after Aug. 1, 1994 to be eligible. 

For Girls u13, players must be born after Aug. 1, 1995 to be eligible.

For Girls u12, players must be born after Aug. 1, 1996 to be eligible.

For Girls u11 , players must be born after Aug. 1, 1997 to be eligible.

Tryout Schedule

The purpose of the tryout process is to give every interested child an opportunity to make one of these select soccer teams.  Try-outs will be conducted by the assigned Head Coach.  Other qualified coaches will assist the Head Coach in the evaluation and selection process. Attendance at all tryout sessions is required (unless absence is approved by Head Coach), as it will give the coaching staff the best opportunity to properly evaluate the candidates.  Coaches will evaluate each player thru a set of skill evaluations, practice observations, series of small-sided games and scrimmages.
