KATIE SHORES
As many of you know, Jill and Katie Shores were in a terrible
accident a few weeks ago. Katie plays lacrosse and basketball for DAA
and a fund has been set up to help the family financially. As it stands
now, both parents are at the hospital full time (she is still in a
coma) and are receiving no income. Katie has a very long road ahead of
her (most likely not returning to school this year). Medical
expenses and family hardships will be significant. If you're able to
donate and help the Shores family, you can do so by clicking on the link
below.

Registration
Please use the links on the left menu to register or complete payments. If you have questions about a specific sport registration, please contact the Commissioner. Contact information for each sport commissioner may be located at the bottom of the main page for the sport.
The registration process is very straight forward and easy to navigate. Please don’t hesitate to contact Beverly Cauley, Rich Froble or Lisa Ellis if you have any questions or need assistance navigating the new webpage or registration system.
Birth Certificate Note: In accordance with the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks Guidelines and Reference Manual, organizations and coaches are responsible for ensuring that each rostered player is eligible to play. A Coach who signs or plays an ineligible player is subject to disciplinary action, and all games in which the ineligible player participated will be forfeited. Therefore, beginning in the fall of 2009, all players registered with DAA for a sport that is subject to age-based division will be required to provide proof of age in the form of an original birth certificate. Once your child's birthdate has been verified by the organization, you should not be required to present a birth certificate for subsequent registrations. Your sport commissioner will contact you after registration regarding the specific plans for verifying such information.
Registration Note: Registration for each sport is typically offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration slots may be limited due to the number of available coaches and practice facilities, and Commissioners may close registration for certain age groups before the date noted on the sport's homepage. Teams may be added later only if additional coaches volunteer, and there are adequate players and facilities to support another team. Our priority is to provide an opportunity to each child who would like to participate; however, some limitations are unavoidable.
