The goal of the program is to give athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities a true lacrosse experience. Equipment and/or rules may be modified as necessary to meet each individual athlete’s needs. Coaches will emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and skills development.
Registration opens on or around July 25th, 2010.
Sport Fee: $20.00
Scholarships are available for players who are not able to pay the sport fee.
A waiting list will be maintained for late registrations and the commissioner will contact you regarding availability.
Season begins Friday evening, August 27, 2010. The first session will include equipment
fitting and a first practice.
All activities will take place at Davidsonville Park. The field location within the park and exact times will be determined in August and communicated to all registrants and volunteers. Please see the field and gym directory on the home page of this website for location and directions.
Season runs for 8 weeks after the initial equipment fitting, for a total of 9 practices.
Volunteers of all ages are always welcome! Enthusiasm is the only requirement. High school volunteers are welcomed and can earn community service hours!
