Davidsonville Soccer Club is a select (travel) youth soccer program reserved for high-level competitive play. Our club serves many communities in Anne Arundel and the surrounding counties. Our teams, both boys and girls, compete in the top area leagues such as the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS) and the Baltimore Beltway Soccer League (BBSL).
Travel Soccer
Typically, travel soccer requires a greater commitment both in time and money. Most teams practice and play year-round including Fall /Spring league games, winter indoor, and tournaments throughout the year. However, the level of commitment varies across each team. Tryouts are required and are held in late May or early June. Some teams hold tryouts throughout the year depending on the team's needs. We encourage you to contact the individual coach or team manager. Player eligibility is determined by birth date.
Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2010 /2011 season will begin June 1st. You must register for tryouts so we can notify you of any schedule changes. For more information about tryouts, click on the menu items to the left – GIRLS TRYOUT INFORMATION or BOYS TRYOUT INFORMATION. Player eligibility is determined by birth date. Fees and Expenses
Travel fees vary depending on team. Contact the individual teams for details. Travel teams participate in fall and/or spring league games. For example:
Team participating in WAGS $400 per year per player
Team participating in BBSL $190 per season per player
In addition to this fee, there will be additional costs associated that are team specific, such as tournament fees, professional training fees and possible travel expenses. These costs will be provided to you by each team. The registration fee for Select (travel) Soccer is considerably higher than County Soccer, however, it is in line with other travel teams in our area. The fees to register in travel leagues are higher than those of County sponsored leagues. We would like our travel program to be available to everyone who is interested in playing. If you have any financial concerns or constraints, please contact the individual team's coach or manager.

In your first year, you will purchase a travel uniform. Required uniform items typically include:

Soccer Ball (provided every year in the cost of your registration)

Mouth Guard for Orthodontics
